Naagin 4 Goes Off-Air: Jasmin Bhasin On Being Replaced By Rashami Desai, ‘Don’t Understand Why, Till Date I Get Questioned’
Jasmin Bhasin, who was replaced by Rashami Desai in Naagin 4, was asked about why had she left the show mid-way, she said, ‘I don’t understand why till date I get questioned why I had to leave the show in mid wherein clarifications had already been done’
Due to the lockdown, many TV shows are coming to an end. Naagin 4, Vidya, Beyhadh 2, Patiala Babes, Isharo Isharo Mein, Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do, Dadi Amma Dadi Amma Maan Jaao, Nazar 2, Kartik Purnima and Naagin 4 have abruptly ended due to the lockdown. In Naagin 4, Jasim Bhasin was soon replaced by Rashami Desai as Nayantara. While her stint was short, she was loved for her acting chops in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show.
Jasmin Bhasin, in the latest conversation, was asked about why she had left the show mid-way, she told Telly Chakkar, “I have clarified and once again I am saying that my character was always supposed to eventually end in the show. I knew about it well in advance. I don’t understand why till date I get questioned why I had to leave the show in mid wherein clarifications had already been done. It is a weekend property full of twists and turns. In Naagin, a lot of actors enter while a lot of actors make an exit from the show.”
When asked if she was fine with playing a cameo in the show, she told the portal, “Yes, actors do play a cameo. Nobody had put me on gun-point to sign the show. In fact, I was very excited to be part of the show. I have watched all the season and had I wish to be on hoardings and getting into the look of Naagin. And my dream came true. It was short-lived but I am thankful to Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms.”
